There are a number of road closures being undertaken around the city due to utility works, special events and highway improvements:
AE Yates works to rebuild a boundary wall are being carried out under 2-way temporary signals until 22nd May 2013.
NW Gas Alliance main renewal works at Mather Avenue will result in a road closure from 20th May to 1st June 2013.
Scottish-Power cable fault works at Stonebridge Lane will be carried out under outbound off-peak lane restrictions until 20th May 2013.
United Utilities water main works at Becontree Road will be carried out under “Stop & Go” traffic control from 20th to 21st May 2013.
Enterprise-Liverpool drainage works at the junction with Carnegie Road means lane restrictions until 26th May 2013.
Enterprise-Liverpool drainage works between Hardman Street and Arrad Street will be carried out under a northbound closure from 13th to 23rd May. Traffic will only be able to exit southbound from Hope Street.
Enterprise-Liverpool maintenance works between Rice Lane and Walton Hall Avenue have resulted in off-peak lane restrictions until 19th May 2013.

Wrenco S278 junction improvement works at the junction with Campbell Drive / Thomas Drive means 4-way temporary signals until 23rd August 2013.
Scottish-Power cable fault works at Sedgemoor Road will mean 4-way temporary signals until 20th May 2013.
Enterprise-Liverpool highway improvement works between Silvester Street and Tatlock Street will mean 3-way temporary signals and lane restrictions until 29th May 2013.

9am to 7pm each day on 25th to 27th May – Canada Boulevard, Mann Island, George’s Dockway, Brunswick Street (Canada Boulevard to Goree), Water Street (Canada Boulevard to Goree), St Nicholas Place, George’s Dock Gates (the circulatory carriageway adjacent to St Nicholas Place), Princes Parade, William Jessop Way, the gap in the central reservation for the right turn from the southbound carriageway of Strand Street into Salthouse Quay, and the left turn lane from the northbound carriageway of Strand Street into Salthouse Quay.
