If you're struggling to feed your family your local foodbank can provide emergency food and support in a crisis.
Trussell Trust foodbanks
The Trussell Trust runs one of the largest networks of foodbanks in the country and can provide a minimum of three days’ emergency food and support to people in crisis.
You can get a voucher from your doctor, health visitor, social worker or your local Citizens Advice bureau and charity organisations.
Take your voucher to your local Trussell Trust foodbank to receive your emergency food.
Other local foodbanks
Liverpool’s Hope+ foodbank is run by the city centre faith communities to help people experiencing crisis in the inner city area.
There may also be a foodbank at your local church or community centre. Each will operate their own system. You may not always need food vouchers.
