Read our privacy notice which tells you how we use your data.

You can amend your Direct Debit by logging in to your account. Do not change your Direct Debit within seven days of your existing payment date, otherwise two payments may be taken in the same month. Please allow 14 days before the date your account would usually be debited for these changes to be made.

You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by writing to your bank or building society. Please also contact us to let us know.

Pay by online banking

You can pay via your online bank account using the details below.

  • Sort code: 20-51-01
  • Account number: 50294217
  • Account name: LCC Income Account

You will need to quote your Council Tax account number when making your payment, which you will find on your bill.

Pay at a Post Office or PayPoint outlet

On the front of your bill is a barcode. Take this to any Post Office or PayPoint outlet.

Your bill shows the instalment amounts and the dates on which you should pay them. You should pay at least seven days before the payment is due to make sure it reaches us in time.

Tell the cashier how much you want to pay and they will process your payment and give you your bill back with a receipt. Keep this receipt as proof of payment.

The barcode includes details of your payment reference number and replaces payment cards. You can still use a payment card if you have one, but we no longer replace them.

If you lose your barcode or have any queries about using it please contact us.
