Consultation on the removal of permitted development rights for Houses in Multiple Occupation in the Dales area, L15

Consultation on the removal of permitted development rights for Houses in Multiple Occupation in the Dales area, L15

Start date: 19th January 2018.
End date: 16th February 2018.

The council is concerned that there are too many Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) in the Dales area of Liverpool, L15, and that they could put pressure on the local environment and services.

To address this concern, we are considering making an Article 4 Direction which would remove permitted development rights in the area so that anyone intending to change the use of a property from a family home to an HMO would need to apply for planning permission.
