Local development documents

Local Development Documents collectively make up the Local Development Framework, along with the Regional Spatial Strategy for the North West. The LDF is the council’s statutory development plan.

The Local Development Documents consist of adopted documents and documents which are work in progress.

Adopted documents These are development documents which have already been 'adopted' by the council, such as UDP, Edge Lane West, Ropewalks and more.

Work in progress These are Supplementary Planning Documents we are working on, as set out in the LDS. Includes Core Strategy SPD, Joint Merseyside Waste SPD and more.
