Baltic Triangle Planning Framework (non-statutory planning policy guidance)

About this planning framework

The Baltic Triangle Planning Framework was adopted in 2008 and provides detailed guidance for new development, regeneration and conservation in the Baltic Triangle area.

The preparation of the Framework was undertaken in the context of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004, and whilst it is not a statutory document, it is intended to provide interim planning policy guidance until such time as the Council prepares new statutory policy covering the Baltic Triangle area as part of its Local Plan, which will replace the Unitary Development Plan as the development plan for the City.
