Local election on 3rd May 2018
Local elections will take place in all 30 wards of Liverpool on the 3rd May 2018.
If you are already registered at your current address you don't need to do anything - a poll card will be delivered to you at the end or March or early in April 2018.
If you have recently moved or need to get yourself added to the electoral register, go to www.gov.uk/register-to-vote and register. You will need your National Insurance number to do this.
The deadline to register to vote in this election is Tuesday 17th April 2018.
Postal and or proxy voting
If you are unable to get to your polling station on election day you can apply for a postal or proxy vote.
New postal vote applications must be received at the Elections office no later than 5pm on Wednesday 18th April 2018.
New proxy vote applications must be received by 5pm on Wednesday 25th April 2018.
A candidate and agents briefing will be held on Monday 19th March 2018 when further information and nomination packs will be given to potential candidates and agents. Please email us at email@example.com for more details about this event.
