Eligibility criteria for help from Healthy Homes

You must be a home owner with:

  • Inadequate heating or insulation.
  • A long-term illness or disability.
  • A low household income, less than £8k in savings and in fuel poverty.

You must also be on one or more of the following benefits:

  • Employment and Support Allowance.
  • Jobseeker’s Allowance.
  • Income Support.
  • Pension Tax and Credit.
  • Child Tax Credit (below the income thresholds in the table below).
  • Working Tax Credit (below income thresholds in the table below).
  • Universal Credit (below income thresholds in the table below).
  • Pensions Saving Credit.
  • Carer's Allowance.
  • Housing Benefit or Council Tax Reduction.
  • A Disability Benefit including Attendance Allowance, DLA, PIP.
