Types of school vacancies
There are two types of schools vacancies advertised on this site:
Teaching vacancies are for teaching posts, while non-teaching vacancies include, for example, school administration and clerical roles.
Applying for school vacancies
Unless otherwise stated, application forms, job descriptions and person specifications are available on receipt of a stamped addressed envelope from the head teacher of the school concerned, and should be returned to the head teacher.
You must submit your application to the relevant school or educational email address. We regret that you cannot use the online application form to apply for school based posts.
School based pay scales
All school vacancies are advertised with a pay scale or salary banding. For details of the actual salaries, download a copy of the school vacancies pay scales.
