Active Me is an inclusive sports programme aimed at people in Liverpool who experience barriers to doing physical activities and sport.
Sessions are fun and friendly and you don't have to be competitive - it's about trying something new, learning different sports and becoming more active.
A team of 'activators' are also on hand to give one-on-one support, build your confidence and help you to become as sporty as possible.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions take place across a number of our centres. Just look out for 'Active Me' sessions on the following centre timetables.
Do I need to book?
Yes. Book through the session activator (details are listed on centre timetables next to Active Me specific sessions) or email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 233 5261.
The first session is free then £2 per person. Carers and support workers are free when accompanying someone.
You can also sign up for an Active Me membership. For just £15 per month you can attend as many Active Me sessions as you like.
There's no Direct Debit, so if you don't want to renew, you don't have to. Ask at reception at participating centres for a form and pay monthly at the desk.
What to wear/bring
You should wear trainers and comfortable clothing such as a tracksuit, t-shirt, jogging pants or leggings.
Bring a bottle of water, and a healthy fruit snack for after the session.
