About the Cycle Speke project
Cycle Speke is a project that works closely with local businesses, schools and community groups to encourage cycling in the Speke area of Liverpool. It has been supported by the European Regional Development Fund. Although this funding has now ended, the project is still continuing with the support of the local community.
From cycle parking outside shops to bike shelters in primary schools, we have improved cycle facilities in the area to make it easier for people to bring their bikes to work and school and enjoy the fun and fitness value of cycling.
