Renewing your Blue Badge

Badges must be renewed every three years. You can renew up to two months prior to the expiry date. 

If you provided your mobile phone number or email address when you made your original application via Direct.gov, a reminder will be sent to you by text or email. Alternatively, Direct.gov will write to you to let you know when you need to renew.

You will need the details of your current badge to hand along with proof of ID which can upload via Direct.gov or post to the address given when you submit your renewal application. 

Alternatively, you can take the proofs to any One Stop Shop for them to be checked, along with reference number given on submission of the form.
