Do you sometimes experience low mood, stress and disrupted sleep or find yourself worrying a lot or feeling isolated?
Then you may benefit from our free six-week courses focused on developing strategies to manage your wellbeing through learning.
The courses available are part of a national research project which is aiming to learn if community learning can improve people’s health and wellbeing. This means those who attend will be asked to score their wellbeing at certain times so we can understand the impact the course if having for you.
What courses are available?
Courses are running from Jan 2017 and include 'Yoga for Relaxation', 'Confidence Building', 'Lifting Mood with Creative Writing' and 'Reducing Anxiety through Art' to name a few.
Why do a course?
Not only can you gain information on strategies to help support your wellbeing, you will also be helping to shape the future of education and health services in your city. Courses also offer you an opportunity to connect with others, keep active and give something back to your local community.
