Meals on wheels (frozen meals)
We do not directly provide a 'meals-on-wheels' service. Instead, we work with Wiltshire Farm Foods to supply frozen meals to people aged 65 or over who need them.
How to apply
If you do not receive support from us but think this service will help you to continue to live independently, you can also contact Careline.
Alternatively, you can contact Wiltshire Farm Foods.
Will I have to pay?
If you arrange your meals through Careline you will pay £2.16 for each meal. You are entitled to a minimum of eight and a maximum of 14 meals per week from a limited selection. These will be delivered fortnightly.
If you buy your meals directly from Wiltshire Farm Foods the amount you will pay will vary per meal. However, you will be able to choose from the full range of meals on offer, with no minimum or maximum order, and you can order your meals as and when you need them.
How do I pay?
All payments for meals must be made directly to Wiltshire Farm Foods.
How do I order meals?
Wiltshire Farm Foods will visit you to help you with your first order, give you menus and order forms and tell you which day of the week your meals will be delivered.
Do I need a freezer?
You will need a freezer large enough to store each new delivery. Most meals can be cooked in either a microwave or a conventional oven.
If you do not have a microwave or freezer Wiltshire Farm Foods will loan them to you.
