Start date: 27th February 2023
End date: 3rd April 2023

What are we consulting on?

We are undertaking a health needs assessment for the LGBTQ+ population in Liverpool. We would like to learn about your experiences, particularly around accessing health services.

The results will be used to inform further research and ultimately to make recommendations for improving services in the city. We would love to hear your thoughts if you identify as LGBTQ+ and live in Liverpool.

What happens to my views?

Your views will be used only by Liverpool City Council staff working on the needs assessment to make improvements to services and support available.

Responses will be summarised for inclusion in the needs assessment report. Your comments may be included in the report and this will be done anonymously and will not identify anyone.

Your comments will be kept solely for the purposes of this consultation and will be securely destroyed 12 months after it closes.

What happens next?

After the survey closes, the results will be used to design further research such as focus groups. The results will be published in the LGBTQ+ needs assessment report which is expected to be released in August 2023.
