Pay a Covid-19 fixed penalty
Using new health protection laws we have started to issue the following fixed penalty notices (FPNs):
- FPN CV1: failure to meet hospitality obligations - covered by The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (Obligations of Hospitality Undertakings) (England) Regulations 2020
- FPN CV2: failure to take customers’ contact details - covered by The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Collection of Contact Details and Related Requirements) Regulations 2020
- FPN CV3: failure to keep to the curfew and seat customers - covered by The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (No. 2) (England) Regulations 2020
- FPN CV4: breach of business restrictions under tier-3 regulations - covered by The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Local COVID-19 Alert Level) (Very High) (England) Regulations 2020 (SI. 2020: No.1105) as amended by SI 2020/1105
If you believe an FPN has been wrongly issued please seek legal advice as non-payment may result in you being prosecuted.
How to pay
You must pay the penalty within 28 days of the date the FPN was issued. Please read the FPN carefully to see if there is an option to pay a reduced amount if you pay within 14 days.
You can pay online using the button below. Please have your reference number to hand. Your reference number starts with CV and is followed by six numbers.
Alternatively, you can send a cheque to Licensing and Regulatory Services, Liverpool City Council, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool L3 1AH.
Please make the cheque out to Liverpool City Council and write the FPN reference number on the back of the cheque.
