Apply for a taxi licence grant
We understand that local restrictions as a result of coronavirus have had a huge impact on local taxi drivers' ability to earn money in Liverpool.
In an effort to help drivers who hold a current licence, we are offering them a grant of £210.
Please note that you will still need to pay to renew your licence when it is due.
Who can apply?
This grant of £210 is offered to all drivers who live in the Liverpool City Region - Liverpool, Wirral, Knowsley, St Helens, Sefton and Halton - with a current and valid licence issued by Liverpool City Council.
You cannot apply if you live outside the Liverpool City Region or appear on the GOV.UK bankruptcy and insolvency register.
