Cemeteries and crematoria
Opened in 1975, Springwood Crematorium is set within beautiful landscaped gardens including a woodland area and Baby Garden. It has two chapels - the Myrle and Rosemary chapels. Services take place in both chapels every 30 minutes.
Options for cremation at Springwood Crematorium
- Garden of Remembrance and Garden of Contemplation with approximately 90 Rose bed sections where you can scatter the ashes of a loved one.
- Woodland area and Baby Garden.

Attending an appointment
If you are attending an appointment for the scattering of a loved one's ashes or for a memorial, please go to the Book of Remembrance Room, where one of our team will meet you.
The Book of Remembrance room is located next to the Rosemary Chapel, where toilet facilities are also available.
These opening hours apply to the crematorium gates and Book of Remembrance room. Please note, our bank holiday hours are 9am to 4.30pm.
