Community initiatives, grants and funding
Do you have a project idea that will help local people build more vibrant, resilient and connected communities and aid the recovery from Covid-19? Find out how to pitch your idea for round three of this fund.
What is #CrowdfundLiverpool?
#CrowdfundLiverpool, launched by the Mayor of Liverpool, Joe Anderson, is designed to help communities across the city imagine, fund and create projects that bring their local area to life.
It aims to give residents the chance to attract funding from the community, council, businesses and foundations through an online portal called Spacehive.
How much money is available?
In total, there is £50,000 in the Mayoral Inclusive Growth Fund pledge pot for each round. Eligible projects could receive a maximum pledge of up to £10k or 40% of the total project costs.
You will also need to encourage the community - 'the crowd' - to support your project with pledges, social media support or 'in kind' donations. Pledges can be for as little as £2 and will only be debited when the project hits its fundraising target.
How to apply
To apply, simply create your project on Spacehive.
Please note that round three is not yet open. Projects can use the Spacehive site to start crowdfunding in advance of the round opening, but please check back soon for information about the theme and deadline for round three.
