Self-employment Income Support Scheme
If you’re self-employed and have been impacted by reduced demand or find yourself temporarily unable to trade due to coronavirus you may be eligible to claim a grant.
Applications for the second grant closed on 19th October 2020. The scheme has now been extended to cover November 2020 to April 2021 and will be split into two instalments.
The scheme allows you to claim a third grant at 80% of three months average monthly trading profits, paid out in a single instalment and capped at £7,500. The grant covers the three-month period from 1st November 2020 to 31st January 2021.
You can make a claim for a third grant if you have previously been eligible for the first and second grant.
You will be able to apply for the third grant of the Self-employment Income Support Scheme from 30th November 2020 using the GOV.UK claims portal.
