Who is the data controller for the information I provide?

Liverpool City Council is the data controller for the information you provide to us.

Why we are collecting your data?

We are undertaking a 10 week public consultation in order to obtain our residents’ and stakeholders’ views on our budget proposals.

It will give people the chance to have their say over our plans to save £34 million next year.

What will we do with the information?

The information we collect will be included in presentations and reports and also through our news website Liverpool Express and our social media channels. 

Any data for publication or use, outside of the authorised officers, will be anonymised and will not identify any individuals.

We will not use the data for any other purpose than stated and will not disclose to a third party i.e. other companies or individuals.

How will my information be stored?

We will keep the information you give us and your personal data in the council’s secure network drive and make sure it can only be accessed by authorised staff.

How long will you keep this information for?

We will keep the information you give us and your personal data for up to three years and then will securely destroy it.

Will this information be used to make automated decisions about me?
