Consultation and engagement
Consultation on the Baltic Triangle Draft Strategic Regeneration Framework
Start date: Monday 17th February 2020
End date: Friday 3rd April 2020
What are we consulting on?
We are undertaking a five-week consultation on a Draft Strategic Regeneration Framework (SRF) and Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) for the Baltic Triangle.
The SRF seeks to guide future development and investment within the area to support regeneration. The vision - focused around the themes of people, place and prosperity - sets out an approach which seeks to deliver a distinctive place within Liverpool, retaining the unique and industrial character of the area to harness the digital and creative economy, delivering an independent community with space for communities and businesses to grow in a sustainable and harmonious way.
It also seeks to respond to challenges and opportunities identified through an in depth context study and engagement with stakeholders. Issues addressed include movement and accessibility, enhancing open spaces, heritage, environmental quality, access to day to day facilities and supporting business growth. It seeks to manage change in a way that supports and enhances the area’s independent and creative identity.
