Consultation on the draft Safe Accommodation Strategy 2021-24

Start date: Monday 10th January 2022
End date: Friday 11th February 2022

What we are consulting on

The Domestic Abuse Act became law in April 2021 and set out a wide range of reforms.

The Safe Accommodation Strategy outlines how the council will implement its statutory duties in line with the Domestic Abuse Act to improve the offer of support in safe accommodation, in partnership with Liverpool Domestic Abuse Partnership Board.

The council is strengthening its commitment to supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse in the city by publishing the draft strategy - this will form one part of a wider strategy on tackling domestic abuse, which will be developed with partners during 2022.

We are asking Liverpool residents, support agencies and community organisations to comment on the draft strategy, which covers a three year period.
