Equality, Diversity and Cohesion Delivery
On 20th March 2020,approved six equality objectives for 2020-2024. These are:
- understand our diverse communities
- strengthen our communities and neighbourhoods
- accessible information and services
- a fair and inclusive employer
- reduce inequalities
- a welcoming city
Our equality objectives for 2020-2024 have been developed in consultation with our staff and citizens. A number of priorities sit under each objective and every year the Council will develop an action plan to show how we will be working towards delivering our equality objectives over the coming year.
