Contaminated land inspection strategy
The Contaminated Land Inspection Strategy exists to provide an improved regulatory regime for the identification and remediation of land where contamination is causing unacceptable risks to human health or the wider environment.
A public register will be maintained by the council detailing all regulatory actions undertaken on land designated as being contaminated.
Priorities will be given to identifying and mitigating the risks presented to human health.
