When will the election take place?
The by-election will take place on Thursday 19th September 2019.
Nomination papers for candidates can be obtained from the Returning Officer at the address below between 10am and 4pm - Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
Completed nomination papers must be returned to the same address before 4pm on Thursday 22nd August 2019.

Register to vote in this election
If you are already registered to vote, you do not need to do anything further - a poll card will be sent to your address.
If you are not already registered to vote you must do so by midnight on Tuesday 3rd September 2019. Find out more about registering to vote.
Postal and proxy voting
If you wish to vote by post at this election, your completed application must be received by the elections office by 5pm on 4th September.
If you wish to vote by proxy, your completed application must be received at the elections office by 5pm on 11th September 2019.
