Local elections - 2nd May 2019
On the 2nd May 2019, local elections will take place in all the 30 wards of Liverpool City Council.
If you are already registered at your current address then you do not need to do anything further and a poll card will be delivered to you at the end of March or early April.
If you have recently moved or need to get yourself added to the electoral register, the deadline to register to vote in this election is Friday 12th April 2019. Find out how to register to vote.
Postal and or proxy voting
If you are unable to get to your polling station on election day, then you can apply for a postal or proxy vote.
New postal applications must be received at the Elections office by no later than 5pm on Monday, 15th April 2019 to be effective for this election.
New proxy applications must be received by 5pm on Wednesday, 24th April 2019 to be effective for this election.
A candidate and agents briefing will be held on Tuesday, 19th March 2019 when nomination packs will be distributed and further information about this election will be provided to potential candidates and agents. For further information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
