Housing Options referral

Following government advice, our Housing Options Service is minimising face-to-face contact, but you can request a referral online by using the form below or call 233 3061.

If you already have an open case with us please email HousingOptionsService@liverpool.gov.uk instead of using the online form or call 233 3044.

The Housing Options Service provides support and assistance to customers who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless.  

You can request a referral online if you:

  • have fled your home due to violence
  • have received an eviction notice
  • have been issued with a repossession order
  • are in rent arrears
  • have been asked to leave your home
  • are sofa surfing

Please be aware that emergency legislation has been put in place to suspend new evictions during the coronavirus outbreak. This means that no-one who rents in private or social accommodation needs to be concerned about the threat of eviction at this difficult time. Find out more about this legislation on GOV.UK.

What happens next?

A member of the Housing Options Team will contact you within 2 working days.

We will discuss your application with agencies or other individuals who may be involved in your care and support.

If you knowingly provide incorrect information or withhold information we need to know we may take legal action. As a result you may be evicted from accommodation provided to you on this basis.

The information you provide may be used for the prevention of fraudulent activity and crime and disorder.
