Coronavirus update - roadworks
Essential roadworks are still being carried out in line with government guidelines on safe working and social distancing. The council's supervisory team is monitoring contractors to ensure they observe these practices. This work is continuing in order to maintain key routes critical to the movement of goods and people, including emergency services and key workers. All non-essential roadworks have been suspended.
Our roadworks list is updated weekly to help you plan your journey around the Liverpool area.
It includes details of road closures, events, highway improvement works and utility works at the point of publication but may not include closures or works that may be carried out at short notice.
Details of any emergency work that has a major impact on our road network will be published on Twitter @lpoolcouncil.

Major planned projects
Over the next few years we’re improving key routes that are in poor condition and carry large volumes of traffic. Unfortunately, there will be short-term disruption but we’ll do everything we can to keep things moving.
