Health and wellbeing courses

Our health and wellbeing courses are advertised on our course list when each term starts. These courses are for everyone aged 19+. Most courses are free and you do not need to complete a skills check first. 

The benefits of health and wellbeing courses

These courses are all about you. Research shows that there are five main ways to improve your wellbeing. This is by:

  • keeping learning - learning should be lifelong
  • connecting with others
  • giving your time to others by taking part in activities such as volunteering
  • noticing nature, your surroundings and people
  • moving - being more active
