Online applications for Reception
We are working with our supplier to fix an issue with the school admissions application system, which has been reported by a number of parents. Whilst we continue to investigate, we are extending the closing date to 18th January 2023.
What is the issue?
The issue primarily seems to be linked to users who have an existing account but have forgotten their password. When attempting to reset their password, the system is not emailing the link for the user to reset it.
This is not happening in every instance, so we advise parents to try the application portal first.
What should I do?
If you are registering for an account as a new user
If you are registering for an account for the first time, you should be able to use the online application portal and submit your Reception application as normal.
We advise new users to follow the normal 'how to apply' process.
If you have an existing account but have forgotten your password, or the application is not working for you
In the first instance, we advise you to try the 'forgotten password' link and check your email. If you receive an email with a link to reset your password, you should be able to reset then sign in to the application portal as usual to complete your application.
If you do not receive an email with a link to reset your password please use the Reception late application form and we will process applications in the same way. They will not be classed as late applications and there will be no penalties for applications received after the official deadline.
