Consultation on a draft plan for Upper Central district in Liverpool

Consultation on a draft plan for Upper Central district in Liverpool

Starts: Monday 15th July 2019
Ends: Monday 9th September 2019

We are consulting on a draft plan called a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) for Upper Central, a newly branded area of Liverpool City Centre.

This SPD provides an opportunity to increase the economic potential of the city centre and the Knowledge Quarter, improve the public realm, connectivity and green infrastructure and bring under-utilised and vacant land and buildings back into productive use.

Once agreed, the SPD will supplement the city's emerging overarching Local Plan.

How to comment

We welcome your views on the draft plan. Please use the online survey below to comment.

Alternatively, you can post your comments to Neil Lucas, Avison Young, Norfolk House, 7 Norfolk Street, Manchester M2 1DW.

What happens next?

Following this consultation exercise, all comments will be fully considered and, where appropriate, the SPD will be amended. The final document and all comments will then be reported to Cabinet for endorsement in Autumn 2019.

Following the adoption of the Local Plan, the SPD will be formally adopted and considered when planning applications are made.
