Consultations

If you're a resident, someone who works in the city, or are affiliated to a local organisation, the council is keen for you to voice your opinion.

We want to consult with as many people as possible on a variety of subjects either online or during face-to face focus groups.

• Consultation on a draft Housing Design Guide SPD

  Start date: Thursday 23rd October 2025
  End date: Thursday 4th December 2025

  We are inviting residents, developers, architects, and stakeholders to comment on the Draft Housing Design Guide Supplementary Planning Document (SPD).

• Consultation on the extension of a Public Spaces Protection Order for dog control in Liverpool

  Start date: Monday 20th October 2025
  End date: Monday 3rd November 2026

  The council is considering extending an existing Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) that gives council and Police officers certain powers to help deal with dog-related issues. This PSPO is due to expire in November 2025.

• Consultation on a proposal to amalgamate Lister Infant and Lister Junior Schools

  Start date: Monday 29th September 2025  
  End date: Friday 14th November 2025

  The council is consulting on a proposal to ‘amalgamate’ Lister Infant School and Lister Junior School with effect from 1st September 2026 and offer parents a place for their child at the newly ‘amalgamated’ Lister Primary School.

• Consultation on a new Local Plan for Liverpool

  Start date: Friday 19th September 2025
  End date: Sunday 9th November 2025

  We would like your views on our draft Local Plan, a planning document which guides the long term strategic spatial development of the city.

• Transportation and highways public satisfaction surveys 2025

  Start date: Monday 11th August 25
  End date: Friday 27th February 2026

  We are inviting the public to offer their views on a number of key aspects of Highways and Transport via the completion of a series of optional online surveys in conjunction with the National Highways and Transport Network (NHT). 

• Consultation on revised parking measures around the new Everton Stadium (Bramley Moore Dock)

  Start date: Monday 7th July 2025
  End date: Monday 17th August 2026

  We are consulting on a revised scheme to manage parking around the new Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock.

• Adult social care user feedback

  Starts: 15th May 2023
  Ends: Ongoing

  This consultation is open to residents who have recently received a service from the council's Adult Social Care and Health team to help us improve services.
