If you're a resident, someone who works in the city, or are affiliated to a local organisation, the council is keen for you to voice your opinion.

We want to consult with as many people as possible on a variety of subjects either online or during face-to-face focus groups.

• Consultation on School Admissions Arrangements

  Start date: 13th October 2026
  End date: 1st December 2026

  It is a statutory requirement for the Local Authority to determine the admission policies for community and community controlled schools and to determine and co-ordinate admission arrangements in order to ensure that that school places are offered and allocated in accordance with the provisions of the Schools Admissions Code.

• Transportation and Highways Public Satisfaction Surveys 2026

  Start date: 22nd July 2026
  End date: 28th February 2027

  We are inviting the public to offer their views on a number of key aspects of Highways and Transport via the completion of a series of optional online surveys in conjunction with the National Highways and Transport Network (NHT).

• Adult social care user feedback

  Starts: 15th May 2023
  Ends: Ongoing

  This consultation is open to residents who have recently received a service from the council's Adult Social Care and Health team to help us improve services.
