Who can apply?

We welcome applications from local, regional and national charities and organisations for campaigns of an inclusive nature.

We cannot accept requests from private or business enterprises, political campaigns or causes that may polarise public opinion.

We have a high volume of requests each year and a busy civic calendar too, which means there is a limit to the days we have available. The type of flags we have available is also limited.

The lighting up of civic buildings for dedicated events or causes have been carefully considered and have already been approved for 2025. Building light-up requests will be reviewed and considered, but we cannot guarantee approval or availability due to limitations and scheduling constraints. Thank you for your understanding.
