Leaving care?

Are you a looked after young person in Liverpool? Did you know that we continue to give you support, advice and help after you leave our care? Find out about your rights and the help we can give you.

When you leave our care

Before you leave care, you will write your pathway plan with your social worker and meet your personal adviser (PA).

Finding a home

Your PA will help you look at all the options and decide which is the best place for you to live.

Education, training and work

We have specialist employment and education advisers who help you find the right education, training or work.

Your health and wellbeing

When you leave care, we want to help you continue to be as healthy as possible. You are entitled to a wide range of support.

Your finances

We'll give you advice on managing money, bills, saving and budgeting, as well as how to establish a good credit history.

Your rights

As well as the right to all the help outlined in the pages in this section, you also have a number of other rights.
