If you've never used a children's centre before you'll need to register your details before accessing services. Complete your registration online or visit your nearest children's centre to register.

Babbling Babies
Yew Tree CC
A 5-week programme to support parents to understand babies' language. Interactive activities for both parents and babies.
Monday 10am — 11am, starts 13th January 2025.

Baby Yoga
Yew Tree CC
For babies aged 3 to 12 months to introduce them to the wonder of yoga and the amazing possibilities of their growing bodies. Classes involve postures and breathing and stories and rhymes.

SWAN - Support with additional needs

Join us for a supported play session for babies and children with special needs or learning or physical disability. Explore play, meet other families and discover the services and benefits available to help your child and family.

A 9-week course to increase your knowledge on health, nutrition and physical activity for the whole family. Includes managing on a budget. Get a FREE slow cooker on completion of the course.

Little Learners
Yew Tree CC
Stay and play session for children aged 0-4 years. Fun activities and lots of new learning experiences. Parents will learn how to support child development with tips and ideas to try at home.

A 5-week course to learn techniques that will relax and soothe your baby. An accredited course with a completion certificate.

Mums Matter

5-week course. If you are pregnant or have a child under 2 years and sometimes feel low or anxious, come along and we can help you to develop ways to manage these feelings.

Book our sensory room
Yew Tree CC has a sensory room which parents can book Monday to Friday 9.30am-3pm for 30 minute sessions. You will need an induction first to understand how to use the resources and get the best experience for your child. Contact Yew Tree 296 7950.
