Yew Tree Children's Centre

We are a community facility providing a range of health and support services, childcare and parent and toddler activities.

If you've never used a children's centre before you'll need to register your details before accessing services. Complete your registration online or visit your nearest children's centre to register.

  • Early words

    Yew Tree CC

    For children aged 12 months and over. Boost your child's communication skills and social confidence through play and interactions with others.

    Monday 9.30am — 10.30am. Starts 28th April 2025.

  • Baby Massage

    Yew Tree CC

    A 5-week course to learn techniques that will relax and soothe your baby. An accredited course with a completion certificate.

    Monday 10am — 11am. Starts 2nd June 2025.

  • SWAN - Support with additional needs

    Yew Tree CC

    Join us for a supported play session for babies and children with special needs or learning or physical disability. Explore play, meet other families and discover the services and benefits available to help your child and family.

    Monday 1pm — 2.30pm on the following dates:

  • PEEP All About Baby

    Yew Tree CC

    12-week programme for babies 0 to 12 months and for parents to understand development milestones. Lots of interaction and activities for you to also try at home.

  • Growing Stronger Together

    Yew Tree CC

    5-week programme. A 4 session model for working compassionately with adults impacted by adverse childhood experiences, breaking the cycle of intergenerational trauma.

  • Sleep workshop

    For children over 1 year.

    A one of session to get hints and tips about bedtime routines, positive habits and sleep strategies to support settling to sleep and waking in the night.

  • Mighty Movers and Tiny Tasters

    Yew Tree CC

    12-week programme for children aged 2 to 4 years. You and your child will prepare healthy lunches and snacks and participate in fun games to promote physical activity. Parents will gain a better understanding of a healthy lifestyle for children and the family.

    Stay and play session for children aged 0 to 4 years. Fun activities and new learning experiences for your children. Parents will learn how to support your child's development with tips and ideas to try at home.

    For babies 0-18 months. A fun, physical soft play session to encourage babies to develop their co-ordination and motor skills.

Book our sensory room

Yew Tree CC has a sensory room which parents can book Monday to Friday 9.30am-3pm for 30 minute sessions. You will need an induction first to understand how to use the resources and get the best experience for your child. Contact Yew Tree 296 7950.
