Early years and childcare
Coronavirus update - proposed re-opening date
National government has asked childcare providers, including childminders, to begin to welcome children back from the 1st June 2020. Each provider will need to decide when they should re-open.
Any provider, parent or carer can contact email@example.com for help and advice.
Coronavirus update - services and opening times
From 25th March 2020 opening hours of all children’s centres will reduce to 9am-4pm.
We have suspended all group activities to focus our efforts on families in need. For help and advice contact your local children's centre. Parents of children on free school meals can collect a weekly £10 food voucher from your child's school.
Children's centres bring together a range of free services for children from birth to five, and their families.
Services vary at each centre according to local community needs but all centres provide child and family health, family support services and a range of parent and toddler activities. Most centres provide childcare or can signpost families to local childcare providers.
