Consultations

If you're a resident, someone who works in the city, or are affiliated to a local organisation, the council is keen for you to voice your opinion.

We want to consult with as many people as possible on a variety of subjects either online or during face-to face focus groups.

• Consultation on the draft Licensing Act Policy

  Start date: Friday 6th February 2026
  End date: Friday 20th March 2026

  We are consulting on our draft Licensing Policy Statement for 2026 to 2031, which we must publish every five years.

• Statutory notice of a proposal to amalgamate Lister Infant and Lister Junior schools

  Start date: Thursday 8th January 2026
  End date: Thursday 5th February 2026

  We are consulting on the statutory notices in relation to the closure of Lister Infant and Junior schools to amalgamate into an 'all through' Lister Primary School. 

• Transportation and highways public satisfaction surveys 2025

  Start date: Monday 11th August 25
  End date: Friday 27th February 2026

  We are inviting the public to offer their views on a number of key aspects of Highways and Transport via the completion of a series of optional online surveys in conjunction with the National Highways and Transport Network (NHT). 

• Consultation on revised parking measures around the new Everton Stadium (Bramley Moore Dock)

  Start date: Monday 7th July 2025
  End date: Monday 17th August 2026

  We are consulting on a revised scheme to manage parking around the new Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock.

• Adult social care user feedback

  Starts: 15th May 2023
  Ends: Ongoing

  This consultation is open to residents who have recently received a service from the council's Adult Social Care and Health team to help us improve services.
