Adult social care user feedback

Start date: 15th May 2023
End date: Ongoing

What are we consulting on?

We are always working to improve the Adult Social Care services that we provide to people in Liverpool. To help us to achieve this we need to know what we are doing well and what we can do better.

Within Adult Social Care, there is statutory requirement to report on the experience of people who use our services each year. As a council we ask a random sample of people to provide anonymised feedback on their experience on an annual basis.

Whilst this information is useful it is not very timely and doesn’t allow everyone who has accessed a service to have a voice. To make the  feedback more current  and more meaningful we have introduced a short digital survey that will provide us with valuable information that could help us to provide better services for people who may need them in the future.

How to comment

The survey is conducted via an online form accessible to anyone who has recently received a service from the Adult Social Care and Health team at Liverpool City Council. The link, a QR code, is supplied on the documentation received during the contact. This consultation is not open to the wider public.

What happens to my views?

The survey is completely anonymous, and the information will only be used for the purposes of improving services within Adult Social Care and Health.

What happens next?

The survey will be ongoing as part of the normal assessment and care management process in Adult Social Care. Results from the survey will be routinely fed back to senior managers and practitioners to allow them to see how our services are working.
