Consultation on a draft cultural strategy for Liverpool

What are we consulting on?

Liverpool City Council is seeking your views on 'Culture Makes Liverpool', the draft cultural strategy for the city covering the period 2025 to 2030.

We are inviting feedback from individuals who live, work, or study in Liverpool, particularly those involved in or connected to creative and cultural organisations.

Your input will help shape and refine the final version of the strategy, ensuring its content is accurate and that the proposed approaches have broad support.

How to comment

The consultation survey includes a series of multiple-choice questions, along with opportunities to provide personal insights and comments. It should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

What happens to my views?

All responses will be reviewed by a small, designated team within Liverpool City Council and anonymised and compiled data from this shared with Counterculture (counterculturellp.com) the consultancy working with us on the strategy. Your feedback will be used solely to inform the final version of the Cultural Strategy.

All survey data will be stored securely and retained for a maximum of 12 months, after which it will be permanently deleted.

What happens next?

A summary of the consultation findings will be published separately, including any resulting amendments to the draft. The final version of the strategy is expected to be published on the Liverpool City Council website in the Summer of 2025.
