Consultation and engagement

Consultation on the Liverpool Neurodivergent All Age Strategy 2025-2030

Start date: 19th March 2025
End date: 14th May 2025

What are we consulting on?

The Liverpool  Neurodivergent All-Age Strategy (2025-2030),  represents a commitment to driving systemic change and improving the lives of neurodivergent individuals. By fostering inclusion, removing barriers, and ensuring equitable access to services, we can build a society that values and empowers all neurodivergent people.

Our Vision is to create a society that recognises, understands, and embraces neurodivergence, making Liverpool a great place to live, study, work, and visit.

We aspire to enable neurodivergent people to lead longer, happier, and healthier lives, reaching their full potential by focusing on five key ambitions:

  • Embracing neurodivergence
  • Early identification, assessment and support
  • Accessible health and care services
  • Right to a fulfilling life
  • Working differently

Liverpool aims to ensure neurodivergent people have equal opportunities to thrive. This approach has been informed by the voices of neurodivergent individuals, their families and the professionals working in education, employment, health, and care.

We would like the views of all those who live, work or study in Liverpool, particularly those who are neurodivergent or care for someone who is neurodivergent.

Your feedback will help to improve outcomes and services for neurodivergent people and their families in Liverpool. The experiences shared in this survey will also provide a better understanding of the challenges faced by neurodivergent people and how being neurodivergent impacts positively on life and the benefits that brings to society. Your input is vital to ensuring our plans reflect the actual needs of our community.
