Consultation on the Paddington Village South Strategic Masterplan

What are we consulting on?

We are consulting on a strategic masterplan for the development of Paddington Village South. This is the next phase of development for Paddington Village in the Knowledge Quarter.

Working in partnership with the University of Liverpool, Liverpool City Council have produced a strategic masterplan for the development of Paddington Village South, which is the next phase of development for Paddington Village in the Knowledge Quarter.

The development proposals will develop brownfield land to create development opportunities in Liverpool’s life science and innovation sectors, whilst retaining and enhancing existing green space to create a vibrant new neighbourhood.

Strategic proposals have been developed and we are now undertaking a consultation on the plans to gain feedback from the local community, residents and businesses before detailed design stages commence.

What happens to my views?

Once the consultation closes, results will be accessed by a restricted team of Liverpool City Council staff only.  

The results will only be used to inform Liverpool City Council’s new consultation policy. The results will be published on this website, in a consultation report which is expected to be released in July 2026. 

Responses will be summarised for inclusion in the report. Your comments may be included in the report, but this will be done anonymously.

The data from this consultation will be kept securely for a maximum of 12 months and then destroyed. 

What happens next?

The consultation results will inform a cabinet report to be submitted in July 2026.
