Consultation and engagement

Transportation and highways public satisfaction surveys 2025

Start date: Monday 11th August 25
End date: Friday 27th February 2026

What are we consulting on?

We are inviting the public to offer their views on a number of key aspects of Highways and Transport via the completion of a series of optional online surveys in conjunction with the National Highways and Transport Network (NHT). This is to help LCC understand how the public feel that the Highways and Transport service is performing and to inform and measure improvements in key service areas.

How to comment

If you live, work or regularly travel within the Liverpool City Council Authority area and would like to offer your views on any or all of the subjects detailed, please complete the online surveys below.

Accessibility survey

Walking and cycling survey

Public transport survey

Road safety survey

Tackling congestion survey

Highway maintenance survey

What happens to my views?

Survey results are collected by Measure2Improve, who are the administrators for the National Highways and Transport Network. Measure2Improve will ensure that the survey results are handled in line with GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Responses will remain confidential and are anonymised before the results are supplied to the individual participating Authority. An authorised member of Liverpool City Council will then be able to log into a secure online portal to review results, comments and generate reports which will allow them to highlight strengths and weaknesses.

What happens next?

The council will use the results to identify and inform improvements in the Highways and Transport Service.
