Equality report
Under the Equality Act 2010, councils have a duty to publish equality information each year.
The characteristics that are protected by the Equality Act 2010 are:
- age
- disability
- gender reassignment
- marriage or civil partnership (in employment only)
- pregnancy and maternity
- race
- religion or belief
- sex
- sexual orientation.
Equality Information
The Equality report shows information on the Liverpool City Council workforce and our residents, for the protected characteristics identified in the Equality Act.
