Performance - How do we measure up?
We use performance management to ensure that we are delivering value for money and efficient, effective services for our residents that have been set out in the City Plan.
In addition to the City Plan, we monitor key metrics that have been set as priorities in the:
- Council Plan - outlines a vision for a trusted, aspirational and learning council, enabling a thriving and sustainable city for everyone.
Performance Framework
Using the Performance Framework, we can measure our current activity in a more objective way to ensure we can reach the goals that have been set for us as an organisation.

City Plan outcome measures
Each April we will publish how Liverpool is performing against some of the key outcome measures across the six aims of our City Plan. These indicators are produced nationally and allow us to benchmark how we are doing as a city against other English Core Cities and England as a whole.
