Holiday activity hub

During school holidays children and young people, aged from reception to 16 years old who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals, can access free activities and a meal.

What's on offer this Easter?

The Easter Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme for children and young people from reception age to 16 who receive benefits-related free school meals, starts on Monday 30th March 2026.

There’s a great range of free activities on offer across the city including Easter egg hunts, Easter egg decorating, Easter bonnet making, trips out, dance, rock climbing, cooking, STEM style challenges, make up sessions, golf, cycling, gymnastics, circus skills and virtual reality, and much more.

When you have chosen an activity, you will need to contact that organisation to book a place. If your child has any additional needs or dietary requirements then please tell them.
