Arron McCann

I'm a dedicated and enthusiastic level 3 qualified personal trainer and qualified fitness instructor (level 2), Spinning instructor (level 1) and FA coach. I'm also CPR and defibrillator qualified. I have undergone various vigorous fitness challenges in my career. I am a previous Royal Marine recruit, so fitness is a major aspect in which I dedicate time and effort to.  I have a high goal drive which makes me strive to see results. I also have experience playing football at professional and semi-professional level which has progressed my knowledge on various exercises and stretching techniques including specific training types.

My goal is to get my clients the results they are aiming to achieve in the shortest amount of time possible - with commitment and healthy balanced diet,  targets can be conquered. I specify in weight loss, muscle gain, cardiovascular improvement, circuit training, fartlek training and 1 to 1 fitness improvement.

Jennie McGowan

I'm a qualified level 2 gym instructor and level 3 personal trainer.  I teach Zumba, Circuit, Metafit and Aqua Fit classes and adults and children's Clubbercise sessions. I'm also qualified in First Aid and defibrillator trained.  I specialise in weight loss, toning, Zumba and Clubbercise dance fitness. I instruct and advise one to one with gym members.  I love anything dance related, staying active, eating healthy and helping people to achieve their goals. 

Stephen McQuilliam

I've a Master's degree in Sport and Exercise Physiology (Distinction) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).  As an accredited S&C coach, I can help people achieve their goals through personal training sessions.  I'm a hardworking, dedicated and enthusiastic coach who thrives on the complexities of creating effective and individual training programs to help people reach their own health and fitness targets.

I have experience at both ends of the spectrum having been involved in professional sport with a Premier League Football Club as a Sports Physiologist to a fitness coach at a residential health and weight loss camp known as MoreLife.  As the majority of my experience is in relation to competitive sport I specialise in strength and conditioning for sports performance.  Although the role at MoreLife centred around weight loss and lifestyle education, I believe this diversity will be of great benefit.  I'm also currently the S&C coach for Liverpool City of Swimming and a lead S&C coach at Liverpool John Moores University.

Visit the reception desk at Liverpool Aquatics to book and pay for your session or package.  All sessions must be used within the week or month of purchase.
