Bike recycling

Do you have a bike you can donate need bikes for community use? The organisations below promote bike recycling in the city.

Peloton Liverpool

Do you have a children's or adult bike you're no longer using? Donate it to the Bike Library and support Liverpool's unique, free-to-use community resource.

At the Bike Library, your donated bikes receive a second life, providing local families access to quality bicycles without the financial burden of purchasing new ones. Bikes are carefully refurbished and become part of our sustainable lending scheme, available free for families to borrow, maintain, and exchange as their children grow.

By donating, you're directly supporting sustainability, reducing waste, and enabling more families to enjoy the benefits of cycling. To donate your bike, please fill out our donation form at The Bike Libraries - Peloton Liverpool Cooperative, email logistics@peloton.coop, or call us at 07380 111226. We offer collection services, or you can drop off your bike at our shop at the University of Liverpool.
