Report an issue with an illuminated traffic bollard

If you spot an issue with a blue and yellow illuminated traffic bollard, please tell us.

Illuminated traffic bollards are used to instruct drivers to 'keep left' at busy junctions or traffic islands to avoid confusion, improve traffic flow and reduce accidents.

If the light is out or the traffic bollard has been knocked over, please report it.

If a black street furniture bollard or hydraulic bollard has been knocked down, please report this via our street furniture form

What happens next?

We aim to repair illuminated bollard faults within five working days. However, during busy periods such as the winter months when the number of reported faults tends to increase, it can take longer.

If the fault is with the electricity supply, we will ask Scottish Power to carry out the repair. In these cases, the timescales are out of our control, but their typical response time is up to 25 working days.
