Southern Grasslands
Located just south of Festival Gardens, this unique 24 acre recreational area was created as a result of a massive remediation programme.
How to get here
Access to the gardens is via Riverside Drive or Otterspool Promenade.

Wildlife Corridors
As part of the remediation programme, 5700 new trees and shrubs have been planted. New areas of woodland and meadow have been created to form new habitats and to enrich the biodiversity in this unique coastal environment. This includes wildlife corridors to boost the population of insects, butterflies and bees.
